If you’ve heard the Bible’s Christmas story, you’ve heard the angel’s proclamation that the arriving Messiah would be referred to as “Emmanuel” which means “God with us.” This wasn’t just a proclamation for the people that experienced Christ while He was on earth, but a promise for all the generations to come…for us! However, is it possible that we’re living UNDER God, OVER God, FROM God and FOR God, but not WITH God?

It’s possible to believe God communicated through the Bible, but search it only to extract helpful ideas, principles, steps, formulas for an effective life…without actually getting to know God. What might it look like in our daily lives to value a personal relationship WITH God Himself more than the wisdom we want FROM Him?
3 · FROM God: Gifts or Giver?

It’s not hard to fall into (or be led into) the mentality of: if the conditions are met, God is obligated act, so delay or denial of my desire is not divine will and wisdom, but human failure of faith-strength or prayer-power. Ironically, just as with Life OVER God, Life FROM God gives us the control…and the blame. Jesus came to relieve us of both! *audio in Spanish
