We imagine WonderLand as the place
to wonder and grow in the knowledge of God.
WonderLand is our Sunday program for children between the ages of 3 and 11.
Since 2007, we have been working with Godly Play, a method to enrich children's spirituality, based on Montessori.
Through storytelling, stories from the Bible are presented to children in imaginative ways, providing them with a safe time to be creative and experience God.
OUR METHODOLOGY
Godly Play is an interpretation of religious education with Montessori method tools. An imaginative approach to working with children that supports, challenges, empowers and helps guide them on their spiritual journey.
Godly Play assumes that children already have experience the mystery of God's presence in their lives, but they lack the language, permission, and understanding to express and enjoy that experience in our secular, materialistic world.
During a Godly Play session, we delve into the sacred stories about the People of God, the parables that Jesus told, the sacraments and liturgical traditions of the Christian faith.
In this process we discover God, ourselves, others and the world around us; something similar happens to adults when they participate in a religious service in which they feel mobilized.
OUR MISSION
Our Mission is for every child, at every stage of life, to find a place where they feel seen, welcomed, and loved—a safe space to discover, imagine, live out their faith, explore who they are, and strengthen their relationship with God, while building friendships and living meaningful experiences.

Fosters in children a sense of reverence and wonder
In a quiet environment, children become more aware of the mystery of God's presence. The goal is not for them to learn about God, but to experience God for themselves.
Explores their curiosity
“I Wonder...”
After the story is told, children are invited to reflect: ‘I wonder what the most important part of this story is,’ ‘I wonder which part of this story relates to you…’
Focuses on the process before the result
Why? Because each child has their own experience of life. Godly Play provides a secure base from which they can explore and find their own answers.
Is play-based
Inspired by Montessori, children take ownership of the story, experiencing it as their own. We provide a space where they can discover their voice through imagination.
Is structured
There is a ritual in Godly Play: a welcome to prepare, the telling of a Bible story, a time to reflect together, an individual response, and a celebration to share.
We are Mentors, not teachers
At WonderLand, we walk alongside each child on their spiritual journey, allowing them to explore and discover God in their own way and in their own time.
